Volunteer Shop Mechanics help with emergency repairs and other DIY repairs as customers come in - assisting BBP staff to manage the flow of traffic and help customers learn the repair needed for their bike.

There is BBP staff available to assist if you end up encountering something that is new to you, but it is advised that you attend a mechanics class series with us or refurbish a few bikes in the backroom of the shop before signing up with this shift to ensure you are comfortable with the type of repairs we assist with.

Shifts divide the day in half with two slots being available from 10:45 a.m. - 2 p.m. and two slots being available from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.

The shop floor can be a zany place, but it is where our collective mission really takes root. Come join us for all the fun!
