Volunteer Mechanics work to assist day to day shop operations as well as free bike programs. Shop operations include helping with walk ins and emergency repairs, as well as sorting parts and assisting mechanics in tasks. Programs operations include overhauling kids bikes for giveaways, preparing Urgent needs bikes for teens and adults as well as assisting in setting up for events.

When you arrive, you may be assigned to either recycle components off of bikes, refurbish kids bikes, or help customers in the shop but please know that no two days at the shop are the same so some flexibility may be required as we respond to whatever the biggest need is throughout the day.
