Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm, BBP hosts a special educational shop time for its members.
These classes are designed to give BBP's Members the tools, knowledge, and empowerment needed to keep their bicycles rolling strong while enjoying/spreading the countless benefits of bicycling around Boise.
Tonight’s class is Open Shop:
We're doing something different for tomorrow's class and hosting a member's only open shop for your questions and simple projects. The details:
Two mechanics, Jimmy and Aaron, will be running the open shop. So just like during our Sunday shop hours for members only, they can offer high level assistance on projects but can't get into the major details with you.
Here are some suggestions for how to use this time:
-If you have questions about 1-by drive trains, come ask them!
-If you need to follow up on any of our regular curriculum, like brake or derailleur adjustments, we're here to answer your questions!
-Want some tips on building up that sweet new frame you received for renewing your membership? Let Jimmy and Aaron help you brainstorm! (But don't expect that you'll be building up your bike from start to finish).
-Want to dig into wheel truing basics? Roll on in!
-If you need little to no support on your own project and want to take advantage of some after-hours shop time, come use it!
6:30 - 8:00 PM
We have 8 stands available, so get here early to get your spot.
