JENNIFER BANKS

Jennifer Banks (she/her) is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Zions Bank Corporate Banking. She has over 25 years of experience as a financial analyst and risk officer in banking, real estate lending, and financial consulting. She has also worked as an adjunct professor of finance at Boise State University. Jen earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Utah (1999) and received her Master of Business Administration from Boise State University (2008).  She is the Womens Business Forum Chair at Zions Bank and has served on the boards of the Idaho Botanical Garden, Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest, and the Idaho Chapter of the Risk Management Association. She has had various volunteer roles with Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Girl Scouts of Silver Sage, and her local PTA.

Jen grew up in Ogden, Utah, and has called Boise home since 2006. She is grateful to have raised her 2 children in this community and currently resides in the North End with her two dogs and cruiser bike. Jen remembers her first “big girl” bike she received for Christmas when she was 6. It had a pink banana seat and smelled of freedom and adventure. She’s excited to volunteer for an organization that brings that feeling to kids and adults alike.

When not working or begging her adult kids to hang out with her she is probably sitting on a patio or at a campsite with a beer and a book.
