Have you heard of this Member Perk?

COVID-19 has certainly altered many events, programs, and shop norms that BBP has grown over the past 13 years.

The changes we made in our youth and adult programming has impacted our ability to give away 1000 bicycles in 2020, and while we are lacking funds from events to support our programming, we are determined to hit that goal by the end of December. Typically, funds raised from events help support that goal!

While we are still determining ways to set up events you can support, you can still help through… our membership program!

When you become a BBP Member it not only benefits your bicycling needs through discounts on parts and access to our stands and tools, it helps us ensure that everyone we serve has a voice representing their wants for a safe, equitable and inviting bicycling environment.

Our membership program has evolved with us, and recently has taken on funding our newly developed advocacy program. While we have always been in the advocacy game, there hasn’t been staff directly committed to it until now. This allows us to focus on spreading the word on important elections (like the upcoming ACHD Commission election), working with our government agencies on transportation policy that betters bicycling infrastructure (like canalways to bikeways), and ultimately supports our ability to create a safer bicycling environment to the kids and families we serve every year.

This year more than ever, your membership is important to keeping Boise Bicycle Project’s wheels rollin’, while keeping yours rolling too! Join or renew today!
