CALLING ALL 24, 18, and 16 inch kids bikes! They're needed to make dreams come true!
As you know, we accept bicycle donations year-round. Now is the time of year that we have a particularly urgent need for donations of gently used kids bikes.
On December 21, we will donate 500+ bikes to kids in our community. We’ll be spending the next 24 days leveraging every lick of elbow grease to refurbish, clean, and accessories those bikes.
We are short on the amount of 24, 18 & 16 inch bikes that we need.
Kids bikes are “sized” by the diameter of their wheels. On each bike tire, you’ll find a stamped-on size (something like 24x2.0), and that’s how you’ll know the size of the bike.
Bikes can be dropped off at BBP Wednesday to Saturday from 11 - 5 (with exception of Thanksgiving and Black Friday). Ideally, we will have plenty of donated 24s, 16s, and 18s on hand by December 11 so we can use the remaining time leading up to the giveaway to refurbish them and turn them into Dream Bikes.
