The return of the social ride: Join us tomorrow to ride to Idaho Botanical Garden!

Our last social ride was on Friday, March 13; and it sure has felt like a really long time. We’re really looking forward to riding with you soon!

We don’t have a fully built out, regular social ride schedule yet, but we are looking forward to hosting them when they make sense. And it DEFINITELY makes sense to have a social ride tomorrow, Saturday June 20, to Idaho Botanical Garden’s fundraiser, Create + Connect!

With a majority of IBG’s large scale events having been canceled due to the pandemic, they sure could use community support. They’ve curated an incredible fundraiser with lots of space to listen to live music, enjoy local food and drinks (you get one free), and create fun projects with DIY kits (all while maintaining social distance and supporting a great cause).

Cultivate. Educate. Celebrate. We grow our community by connecting people, plants and nature.
— The mission of Idaho Botanical Garden

The fundraiser has brunch and happy hour elements. Let’s be honest — the entire day looks incredible. BBP will be social-riding to the brunch portion of the event. Meet at the shop between 19:15 - 9:20 AM to depart shortly after that for a leisurely ride along the greenbelt to IBG. You are totally welcome to join us on just the ride, but you do need tickets to enter the event. For $25, you get access to the gardens, a drink coupon, live music, and tons of open space to connect with yourself, your friends, and nature. There are food, beverage, and DIY kit add-ons that you can purchase ahead of time or at the event.

It’s been too long since we’ve been on a ride together, Boise! Let’s get together on Saturday morning to enjoy a ride and support an incredible organization. (And if you can’t join us for the ride and the brunch event, perhaps plan on riding to the happy hour event later in the day).

As I mentioned early, we don’t have a set social ride plan yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as we make plans!
