With only 11 days to go until the big show, I want to call out some specific volunteer needs. Can you be a hero and contribute in any of the following ways?
General needs
We need all kinds of food items. We’re feeding around 1,000 people next Saturday, and we need your contribution to make sure there’s enough food for all! Sign up here: https://forms.gle/AUjsDprt4jAF8TVJ8
Donate your gently used and clean warm items. We want to make sure we have plenty of hats, coats, scarves, gloves, mittens, sweaters and boots to give to our families needing them. Donations can be dropped off at BBP or at Anser Charter School.
Needs between now and Friday, December 20
Lend your support as a BBP office assistant! Our phone is ringing off the hook, and we desperately need help answering it. We also have lots of data entry related tasks we need help with. Have a flexible schedule? Please give a few hours to supporting our team. Email info@boisebicycleproject.org if you can help. Plan to bring a book, or some knitting, or whatever activity tickles your fancy to occupy yourself if there’s downtime.
If you’re an experienced mechanic, we need your help fixing bikes. You can work here at the shop or take bikes home with you. Email info@boisebicycleproject.org if you can help.
Process donations. We still have bike donations coming in droves, and we need help receiving them. Dress warmly in clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
