Our shop may be closed, but your support today impacts our future.
Yesterday we announced that we will be closing our shop to the public until further notice. Some of our staff will work from home, and a limited amount will work at BBP while maintaining 6ft of separation. We all will continue providing the following:
We will perform 30 minute bike repairs for individuals who rely on their bicycle as their only mode of transportation. These repairs will only be performed by our staff as the individual waits outside.
Our staff will continue working on rebuilding bicycles to sell when the shop re-opens. Keep an eye out for a biiiig bike sale in the future!
We will continue having (virtual) online meetings with our community members to get pathways on canals, improve street infrastructure and plan for collecting 8000lbs of goatheads in 2020.
We will continue to send our weekly BBP Experience newsletter. We are all adapting day by day as guidance from the CDC and our local government changes. Our newsletter is where we will share updates on changes at BBP as we make them. Not subscribed yet? Now is the best time to do so!
Our shop may be closed, but your support as a member will continue to impact our bicycling community.. In fact, now more than ever is your support of BBP important.
Your support of BBP today ensures our staff will continue to get paid, ensures our ability to help those most in need, and ensures that we come out of the moment resilient, strong, and ready to ride.
Today, I am asking you to support Boise Bicycle Project by doing one or more of the following:
Being closed does not stop us from doing what we can to better Boise’s bicycling community. Thank you for your support during this time of uncertainty.
