Free Pizza for Volunteers!
Last week I told you that the annual Primary Health Bike Drive (Saturday, September 21) is very truly the only way we have enough bikes for our Holiday Kids Bike Giveaway. Yep, this is very much the truth. It’s also true that we still need A LOT of volunteers to pull off such a big effort.
Free on Saturday, September 21? Please, please, please sign up for a volunteer shift. Sam and I recognize that this volunteer opportunity is special. The shifts are longer, we need your elbow grease, and we’re asking that many of you take shifts in Meridian, Eagle, Nampa and Caldwell. To acknowledge your time and energy, we’re throwing a pizza party back at the shop at 5pm that day - free pizza for every volunteer who shows up big for us on this day!
Review my original request here, and sign yourself up for a shift here.
While you’re considering which of the nearly 100 volunteer spots to take, let me take a minute to tell you about Primary Health and why they are so important to us. Primary Health is the largest independent medical group in Idaho with multiple locations throughout Southwest Idaho. Their model focuses on accessible, affordable, and high-quality urgent care. In a recent discussion with our Primary Health partner, I learned that Primary Health offers an out-of-pocket discount for those individuals unable to pay with insurance. Along with this discount. patients can leverage a payment plan for medical services with no added fees and no interest.
Primary Health sponsors the helmets that are included with our kids bike giveaways. That’s 1,000 helmets on heads each year, thanks to Primary Health!
Please sign up to volunteer for the Primary Health Bike Drive. You’ll be doing valuable work to ensure we have enough bikes to donate at the Holiday Kids Bike Giveaway this year. -Em
